With SMA Smart Connected, SMA is the first manufacturer to offer free, automatic monitoring of the inverter, which enables the installer to provide fast and precise service to the customer. In the event of an inverter fault, we provide the diagnosis immediately - the installer can rectify the fault quickly, saving valuable working time and analysis costs. If the inverter needs to be replaced, SMA will send a replacement device free of charge within a very short time.

How it works
Activating SMA Smart Connected
When registering the system in Sunny Portal, you as the installer activate SMA Smart Connected and thus start automatic inverter monitoring by SMA.
Automatic inverter monitoring
SMA automatically checks the inverter around the clock for anomalies during operation. You and your customers benefit from SMA's many years of experience.
Proactive communication
After diagnosing and analyzing a fault, SMA immediately informs the installer and system operator by e-mail. All parties are thus optimally prepared for troubleshooting. This minimizes downtimes and reduces effort and costs. The installer also gains valuable insights into the overall system from the regular performance reports.
Replacement service
If a replacement device is required, SMA will automatically deliver a new inverter within 1 to 3 days of fault diagnosis. As the installer, you can actively approach the system operator and replace the inverter immediately.
