In a stationary home, it's often all about convenience. In a motorhome or camper, it's all about resource management. Electricity, water and gas are limited. A networked system gives you back control.
Many paths lead to the goal. While hobbyists often rely on Raspberry Pi and Home Assistant, travelers who want to rely on their system need robust hardware that can withstand extreme conditions (heat, cold, vibrations). We distinguish between two main philosophies, which you can also combine with us:
If your focus is 100% on electricity, solar and maximum self-sufficiency, the ecosystem from Victron Energy is the gold standard. The system is modular - you start small and expand as required.
You don't just want to watch electricity, you want to control the entire vehicle? The CIS 3 from Comworks is a powerful automotive server that merges infotainment (music, video) with vehicle technology.
A smart home system is only as good as the data it receives. Most factory solutions use cheap probes that calcify or display incorrect values when tilted. We upgrade to professional quality.
Forget stick probes. Supersense sensors measure fill levels (fresh water, gray water, black water) capacitively from the outside or using a pressure sensor.
Don't fancy pulling cables into the fridge or freezer? RuuviTag sensors are small, wireless pucks that measure temperature, humidity and air pressure.
A smart motorhome needs a voice to the outside world. You need stable internet so that you can conveniently access your vehicle via app.
You often read on the Internet: "Take a Raspberry Pi, install Home Assistant and a few Shelly relays, it's cheaper."
Yes, this is possible and a nice hobby for IT professionals. But for a vehicle with which you want to travel reliably, we take a critical view:
At verkauf-bochum.de, we offer you help to help yourself, but based on components that work. On request, we can supply you with the circuit diagram and pre-configure the system.
Anyone can simply buy hardware. The art lies in the right planning and wiring. A smart home in a motorhome has a deep impact on the vehicle's electrical system.
That's why you don't just get the box of goods from us, but the complete package on request:

Absolutely. Solutions such as the Victron SmartShunt or RuuviTags can be retrofitted in minutes. Larger systems such as the CIS 3 or Cerbo GX require some installation work, but are almost always compatible.
Yes, a good system (as we design it) must always work locally. You can operate lights and heating locally via your tablet or switch, even if you're in a dead zone. The internet is only needed for remote access.
This is a critical point. Our components are designed for efficiency. A Cerbo GX or CIS 3 only consumes a few watts in standby mode. We make sure that your smart home doesn't drain the battery.
