The new BSP Lightweight solar modules combine the proven back-contact technology of the ECTIVE BSP series with a weight reduction of approximately 50% . Designed for campers, vans, boats, caravans, or any mobile application where performance is required in a compact space, they deliver maximum efficiency while maintaining a low weight.

Thanks to the rear contacts , all sunlight is optimally utilized , while the front remains transparent. This allows the BSP Lightweight Module to achieve an efficiency of up to 24.7% – significantly higher than the standard of conventional solar modules at approximately 21.4%. The ETFE surface replaces the usual glass surface, making the module exceptionally lightweight, flexible, and robust for all outdoor applications.

Whether on a campervan roof, boat, or in an allotment garden: BSP Lightweight Modules deliver the same performance as conventional BSP modules at a significantly lower weight . At the same time, the back-contact technology reduces shading losses and hotspot formation, as there are no contacts on the front. Even with partial shading, the module remains efficient. With 42 cells, pre-wired MC4 connectors, and a nominal power of 120 Wp , installation is quick, safe, and ideal for off-grid systems. The open-circuit voltage is 25.20 V , compatible with all common battery systems.
