Diesel generators are traditionally used in agriculture, on construction sites, in hospitals, in the catering and hotel industry and by the fire department. The use as emergency power supply for the own home, the camping trailer or as protection of whole buildings in the urban area becomes more and more popular. But diesel generators are also excellently suited for continuous operation. Diesel generators with 1,500 revolutions are generally known as low-speed generators. Compared to high-speed generators (approx. 3,000 rpm), diesel generators with 1,500 rpm are more expensive to purchase, but much quieter and longer-lasting.
In the context of self-sufficiency planning, diesel generators with 1,500 rpm are a central and reliable component for a continuous power supply. In the event of a power failure, the ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) ensures that the emergency generator starts up automatically and deactivates it again as soon as the power grid is available again. In winter months, almost no energy can be generated by photovoltaic systems in Germany. In this case, a diesel generator is an ideal solution for charging the batteries in the event of a power failure.
Diesel gensets with 1,500 rpm are the best choice for generators in continuous operation. Compared to gasoline gensets, these are more durable, run more smoothly, and are less expensive to refuel. With adherence to maintenance intervals, they achieve excellent performance and durability.

Our diesel generators are always delivered dry. Filled generators can only be shipped as significantly more expensive hazardous goods transport. A forklift is required on site
(trucks with lifting platforms are not suitable here due to the high weight).
We recommend that you hire an electrical contractor for the electrical installation. You can discuss cross-sections and fuses with our electrical department
(Note for your electrician: the unbalanced load between the phases must not exceed 25%). For the initial filling of the diesel generator, an on-site mechanic has proven to be useful.
We are happy to advise you from planning to installation and are also available to assist you with remote commissioning.
Our diesel generators must be serviced every 300 hours or every 3 months (annually in emergency power operation). As an additional option, we recommend our maintenance kit. This includes the initial filling and all fluids and filters for 3 further maintenance (up to 1,200 hours).
Our generators usually have exhaust gas class 3A and must therefore be permanently installed outside. Indoor installation is only possible at a very high cost and should only be considered in exceptional cases. For the right choice of location, ensure a dry, frost-free and easily accessible location with sufficient air supply. To prevent vandalism, we recommend installing a mesh fence with a mesh door. Our diesel generators are usually equipped with a weatherproof soundproof hood to reduce noise.
To determine the correct power rating for your generator, we recommend multiplying your peak load calculation in KW by 1.4.

All spare parts can be obtained from us. A large part of the spare parts are in the European central warehouse or are in stock. Our diesel generators usually come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty or 1,000 hours of operation.
