What is the main difference to the set with the MultiPlus-II?
The type of solar connection. This set with the Multi RS Solar is DC-coupled, so the solar power is processed directly and highly efficiently in the device. This is ideal for new installations. The MultiPlus-II set is AC-coupled and therefore more flexible for retrofitting existing PV systems with third-party inverters.
Can I also connect an existing PV system to this system?
Yes, that is possible. In addition to the direct DC connection, the Multi RS Solar can also process AC-coupled power from an existing PV inverter. However, the system shows its greatest strength when the PV system is connected directly on the DC side.
