Similar to the MultiPlus-II, the Quattro is a combined inverter and charger. In addition, it can accept two AC inputs and automatically connect to the active source. Among its many features are a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology, and several system integration features such as three-phase or split-phase operation and parallel operation.
Two AC inputs and two AC outputs
The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, such as shore power and a generator or two generators. The Quattro automatically connects to the active source. The main output has a no-break functionality. In the event of a mains failure or interruption of shore or generator power, the Quattro takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices continue to operate without interruption. The second output is only active when AC power is available at one of the Quattro's inputs. This output can be used to connect loads that should not drain the battery, such as an air conditioner or water heater.
